This impressive OVAL MIXED CUT SAPPHIRE of 17.73 KARATS, set in PLATINUM was originally estimated to sell for $100,000 to $200,000. However, upon further research, it became clear the Sapphire was far RARER than we had originally thought. The estimate was raised to $600,000 to $800,000. The ring SOLD FOR A STUNNING $1,622,800.
